Workshops, classes and joyful explorations
Hello! My name is Michelle.
The Creative Teacher
Welcome to The Creative Teacher. Thank you for taking the time to visit.
I am a NESA approved teacher (Bach Ed. ECE) and artist with over 20 years of experience and passion. I am proud to have received awards for both my teaching expertise and my creativity as an artist. Having had taught all ages from children, university students, adults and our elders, being recognised for my extensive experience was an honour.
I work in corporate settings, conferences, councils, universities, art galleries, museums, schools and centres as well as community workshops, festivals and residential aged care. I have also recently had a NESA aligned educational resource published, been a regular and respected speaker as well as presenting and artistically creating educational videos encouraging art making.
I am devoted to sharing my passion for creativity to all members of our community and supporting everyone to see themselves as the capable and creative people they truly are.

Have you ever wanted to experiment with printmaking?
Join me at The Press Gang at Hornsby Council’s beautiful Wallarobba building at 25 Edgeworth David Avenue.
We are open on Fridays during NSW school term times. For only $5, you can use our printmaking press, use our inks, tools and create your own artworks in our community studio.
You can come from 9:30 am and stay until 2:30 or whatever your time allows. No commitment, all welcome!
We have an extensive collection of book, magazines and artworks to inspire you and keep you motivated.
Whilst we are not a teaching studio, we do help wherever we can. We are staffed by volunteers who kindly donate their time so that everyone of all ages and abilities can pursue their creative ideas.
Beginners and experienced artists are always warmly welcomed.
Please email me with any questions at thecreativeteacher@yahoo.com or call 0435-082-670.
